Since
1964, the Museum has displayed artifacts related to the
growth of Moody County which was established in 1872; family
history files; Rural school records; Military memorabilia;
Dakota Archives preserving the history of the Flandreau
Santee Sioux; the Flandreau Indian School and the Reva Smith
Photo Gallery.
Be sure to see the Jones School, the last rural school to operate in Moody County; the Riverbend Meeting House built in 1870 as a church and then was used as a school; and the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad Depot built in 1880; To learn more about the Museum's holdings, go to our collections page.
